NE Florida Regional Airport Improvements This was a two phase project bringing the runway safety area into FAA standards compliance. Phase I of the project consisted of wetland restoration via spoil island removal, and installing articulated concrete block to restore the eroded shoreline. Phase II also included installation of articulated concrete block to protect the RSA. In addition, the project removed the existing Taxiway C and extended Taxiway B to tie into Runway 13-31, as well as relocating a 50ft. by 850ft. salt marsh canal. view photos | project details
